Regal Summer Movie Express:
Moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard the Summer Movie Express to enjoy a great selection of films and a terrific value. Selected G or PG rated movies will be offered for only a dollar at 284 Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres around the country.
Since 1991, Regal has hosted special summertime entertainment for families to enjoy and to foster a love of moviegoing in each new generation. Previously the program was called the Free Family Film Festival. This year the summertime film series will also raise funds for charity and has been renamed Summer Movie Express with admission set at only $1.
A portion of proceeds from the Summer Movie Express will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute. Will Rogers uses the money to fund the institute’s mission in the areas of medical research and health education. Regal has committed to donating a million dollars to Will Rogers Institute from this summer movie series.
Cover Artist Show – Friends of the Library Fund-Raiser

Attendees will see some of the best art of Sacramento as they talk with the artists that created the cover for this award-winning magazine. Art can be purchased and contributions made to the great work of the Friends of the Library. Included in the evening will be music by Glenn Tietjen, Natomas School of Music and a sampling of appetizers.
Sponsored by N magazine and the North Natomas Library, this event is free to attend.

Description: The Natomas Arts and Education Foundation will hold the 3rd Annual Natomas Duck Pluck Festival, supporting arts and sports in Natomas schools. Over 40 booths, including food vendors, carnival-like games, arts, sports and education activities, will serve the interest of all ages and all family members. The culminating event of the day will be the Duck Pluck itself, which gives participants a chance to win $10,000.
The event is free to attend.

Starting March 10, 2012 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, the South Natomas Friends will hold their Annual Spring Book Sale in the South Natomas Library Community Room. It continues during library hours until March 17, with a $5 a bag sale on the last day only.
Pick up that thrilling mystery or cherished childhood favorite at a discounted price. All proceeds from the sale benefit library programs and the Lucky Day collections. Support your local library and and pick up a great read in the process!
Each child gets one free kids book too!
Donations of used books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and magazines are welcome, so bring them by the South Natomas Library during regular library hours. If possible, they would like to have all donations by March 5th in preparation of the sale.
