Your Old, Rusty Bike Wanted for a Public Art Project!

Artist Brian Goggin, known in the region for his public artwork, Samson, at the Sacramento International Airport, is looking for used steel bicycles, in any condition or type, to be used in a public artwork at Fire Station 43 in the North Natomas area of Sacramento. Drop off your used steel bicycles and receive a certificate of participation!

Artist Lecture – Brian Goggin

Brian Goggin is well known in Sacramento for his public artwork at the Sacramento International Airport, titled “Samson”. He creates site-specific sculpture,  often with whimsical and unexpected elements.

Mr. Goggin was recently selected to create a public artwork for Firestation 43, located in North Natomas. He will discuss his past work as well as the public art design and concept for Firestation 43.
